This Jeep Grand Wagoneer is one of our personal vehicles; it is an original Kansas truck and has led a very sheltered life. The Jeep's interior shows very little wear with the leather and vinyl shiny and flexible. The carpet is original with good texture and just a little fade. The entire driveline is smooth and strong. There are no leaks or noises, the 4x4 system has been rarely used, is quiet, smooth and performs as designed. The paint has been refinished and has nice gloss and luster. The glass is all in excellent condition the front windshield is new. The chassis has 136,000 miles; synthetic oil is used front to rear. The Jeep 5.9L, 360cid engine has had the Edelbrock torque performance package installed. The heads were pulled, camshaft, lifters, valve springs, intake manifold, spredbore 4 barrel carburetor, cam gear with chain, ceramic coated headers and Borla exhaust were installed. The block passed visual and measured well with nice crosshatch in the cylinder walls. Edelbrock claims 60 ft-lb torque improvements and with the other mods it feels like more. It drives and handles wonderfully with the German Bilstein shocks and larger front and rear anti sway bars. This Grand Wagoneer has been meticulously maintained. The modifications on the Jeep have been done for improved drivability and fun. They have also been done in a modest fashion keeping the right look and feel to the truck. Service is still as simple as the original and can be done by the dealer or independent technician. Many items have been replaced or rebuilt. The radiator, a/c compressor, brake hoses, drum kits and cylinders, fuel level sensor, steering box, power steering pump, alternator, fan clutch, water pump and more have been replaced. Several thousand dollars have been spent on a very nice custom 12 speaker Blaupunkt stereo installation while maintaining a proper stealthy appearance. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer has quite a cult following with camaraderie among enthusiasts. The woody styling with plenty of chrome is very nostalgic and the wide expanse of glass with thin pillars gives excellent visibility. Cargo room is quite large and the interior is very luxurious. This Jeep Grand Wagoneer has a ride quality that is more comfortable than the modern Yukon / Expedition / Cherokee vehicles and is a fun unique truck to own and drive. This special Jeep Grand Wagoneer is an extremely good value and needs nothing but to be driven and enjoyed. In the 12 years we have known this Jeep the towing hitch has never been used. This Jeep Grand Wagoneer presents itself very well inside and out and can easily be taken to car shows if desired yet it has not been over restored to the degree that you would not want to drive and enjoy it.

Note: We have installed new radial tires on this Grand Wagoneer; the Jeep now sports white wall tires as it did when new. Looks very classy!
